"I Can clean it Madame"
" Clean it" She spat at him " Tell me Nicholas how
do you clean black nail polish off a white carpet, huh, how Nicholas"
Nicholas was whimpering and terrified
" Nail polish remover Madame"
She reached down and grabbed a hand full of his hair and yanked his
head back and shrieked in his face
" Nail polish remover, dose your little pee brain actually think
that nail polish remover will take black nail polish off a white carpet"
Nicholas was on the verge of tears and she yanked his hair violently
that caused him to whimper
"Answer me Nicholas"
" I I I can try Madame."
She grabbed two fist fulls of his hair and shook his head violently
back and forth and shoved his face into the carpet where the the nail
polish stain was. She was standing over him grinding his face hard
into the carpet.
"I swear to god Nicholas if you don't get this godamn stain out
of my carpet I'll make you curse the day you were born, do you understand
me!
She let go of his hair and walked over to her make up table a picked
up a bottle of nail polish remover and hurled it across the room at
him. It bounced off the carpet inches from his head and rolled under
the chair. Nicholas was sobbing so that his whole body was shaking
and Stephanie regarded him with disgust.
"Nicholas" She said and he was relieved that she was no
longer screaming She walked over to were he laid on the floor and
crouched down and stroke his hair in an almost loving manner and he
flinched like a dog who has known too well the end of a stick.
"Nicholas" she said again in calm voice
"There is rag and a brush under the sink in the bathroom, get
it and clean this mess, the nail polish remover is under the chair.
I'm going upstairs to take a bath and get ready for the party, come
up and see me when you've finished here I'll need your help getting
dressed is that clear."
"Yes Madame" He was sniffling and she wiped the tears off
his cheek
" Why do you do this to me Nicholas, Why do drive me to such
rage."
" I'm sorry Madame."
